I'm going to be taking my drone to Oahu next month. I'm doing some research on where I can fly and I noticed that I'm unable to take off from the beach. Now, does this apply to all of the beach because I read that at my local beach in California it's ok as long as I do so at the mean high water mark (wet part of the sand).
Does anyone know if this is the case for Oahu as well or will I have to take off in a parking lot or something instead? If you could provide some sourrces I could reference as well that would be great. I basically want to have all my bases covered and follow the rules as well as be informed in case something comes up and someone thinks I'm doing something wrong even when I'm not. We're staying out in the boonies so the beaches won't be that crowded either way. Thanks for your help!
