This spring I bought vision +. and the thing I missed was the ability to navigate the camera using the remote controll. Now I have found out that there is a new remote with a scolling wheel on the right corner of the remote that will do that.

my question is: is it worth the upgrade and is it easy to make it talk to my dji vision plus? I dont want to open up the vision to install something...

I bought one, love it. No need to open phantom to install.

Check out the posting below that is in Stickies. It covers the issues and fixes associated with using the new controller.

I for one absolutely love the V3 controller! That wheel is the bomb! No more jittery transitions of the camera going up and down!

Of course, this is just one of the many improvements, but count me as a vote for the possitive

When I go on dji.com to order the new remote, it says only compatible with Vision, doesn't say Vision Plus? Also our remote is 5.8 right, and the web says new remote is 2.4? What am I missing?

Think in going to upgrade my transmitter also. That smooth camera control would be very nice.

The V3 TX is a great upgrade, lipo lasts ages, smooth camera action and I like the the lock down left stick.

As far as I know, the same WiFi repeater so no difference that way. The antenna on the controller looks the same as it did on the earlier version, but I'm not sure technically.

I second that vote for the positive as well!
