New Phantom 3 Camera DOA out of the box, repair time?

Stupid question but my p3p came with protective tape on the lens.....if yours did also did you remove it

One last thing... it really isn't connected? It's not just that the camera settings are so mis adjusted that you just get a dark screen that IS actually what the camera is seeing due to not being set?
