New P3 Pro Loses Signal - Old P3 Pro Has No Issues

Hello folks. Have had the P3 Pro for over a year. Recently purchased a backup P3 Pro due to the great sales. When out testing today, I was having all sorts of video/RC signal dropouts. They occurred in my local practice field, where I normally fly. With my old P3 Pro, I get noticeably better range and video signal. With this new one, signal cuts out at less than half a kilometer. Not just at low altitudes, but at varying altitudes.

Bottom line is that the newer version P3 has noticeably worse signal (RC & Video) than the old one I have -- under the same flight conditions. Did DJI dumb down the new P3 Pros because the old ones were TOO capable? It certainly feels that way. Does anyone know a fix?

You could try swapping the remotes over and see what effect that has on the range.
It would indicate if the remote or the aircraft or both have been dumbed down.
My P3A (new in February) struggles to reach 1000m before I lose signal, even when flying from the top of a big hill in the middle of nowhere. Im very dissapointed with the range so far.
