New Gimbal won't work, old was fine.

Have a Phantom 2, bought in May with H3 3D installed by Aerial Media. Just bought a new H3 3D as the first one was a few degrees crooked after a crash. Hooked up the new one, video feed works great but the gimbal portion does not fire up. Flops around without working at all. Updated firmware on Phantom 2....still nothing.
Any ideas..??

I'd guess that either the plugs for the gimbal cable aren't seated properly, or you just got a bum unit.
