NDVI Software

An associate and I have produced single image NDVI software to be used in a greenhouse. We're wondering how it will work with a NIR camera on a drone. If anyone has a NIR camera on their Phantom and would like to send us a sample image it would be greatly appreciated. If the software is something you like we can talk about a discount on it in exchange for helping us.

Check out Sentera. It's the leading Ag drone mapping company. They make the NDVI hardware and software so its way way more precise than companies like drone deploy who are generation NDVI with camera's that are only really made for RGB.

Sentera is good for hundreds of acres at a time and is expensive. The product we've built is for a dozen acres and is low cost. A new filter on a DJI and software for less than a $1,000 and you can do small plot NDVI imaging.

That's pretty cool. My only worry is using the DJI camera with a special filter. RGB cameras even with a filter just don't produce true NDVI.
