My P4P will not connect with Assistant 2

Need help here. My App told me that I needed to update my NFZ database but cannot do this from my iPad as I have lost the cable and connector. So tried DJI Assistant 2 and it said it downloaded something then stuck at "transmitting" with no further result. It did not update the NFZs. So hooked up again the the Assistant but now it does not connect at all. Any ideas guys?

What type of computer and operating system?
Did you install the latest build of Assistant 2?

I tried both my Windows 8 partition on my iMac, mac OSX Sierra on both my iMac and Mac book pro and yeas I downloaded the latest version of DJI Assist 2 for the respective operating systems.

I don't use Mac, but I understand some have driver problems with the Phantom connection

I had that problem. I called DJI. Uninstall the Assistant 2, Reboot and download the Assistant 2 listed for the Mavic Pro. For some reason, the one on the DJI Phantom site may not be current or has an issue

I did this and my Phantom 4 Pro was recognized and the issue resolved.

Why, I have no idea, but it worked.
