So this is my very first flight with the quad, bare in mind I'm a flying n00b and its windy.

Is it possible to attach the Gopro in its protective case instead of the device provided by the Phantom?

Yes you can mate. Just put it in upside down.

Thanks for the reply! I'm expecting the Phantom next week. Hope it's easy to fly. Never flown a drone before.
