I don't know as much as many on this forum, so please take my questions as general curiosity more than
anything else. I have read that some feel the heat from the motors can cause the mounting screws to heat up and, over a period of time, cause stress cracks around the screws. Would it make a difference to create a
machined aluminum heat sink that would wrap around each motor to aid in cooling. They probably wouldn't add that much weight and could help dissipate the heat from the motor more efficiently.
Even adding an aluminum piece on the bottom of each motor, that resembles the removable Prop guard mount, could help dissipate the heat from the screws.
