I spent 22 years as a Coast Guard helicopter flight mechanic and after every flight we would wash the copter to remove salt water spray and engine soot then spray down all the electrical equipment, including the alternators, with CRC 2-26. I was in Home Depot a few days ago and low and behold in the electrical aisle look what I found. I bought 3 cans, they only have the 5 oz. ones, did my car alternators and sprayed out the Phantoms motor windings.

I use bearing oil.. :?
