I bought a P3P in December as my first quad copter. I've enjoyed pro-sumer videography and photography for over 45 years including underwater video and stills. This was the next logical step for me.
I also served 22 years in the Coast Guard as a rescue pilot flying helicopters and C-130's. Then 22 years with the airlines flying big jets. I love my P3P and I love this forum for all of the assistance and information it provides.
My flight controls are set to custom since, as a helicopter pilot, I was used to pulling on the collective to ascend and/or increase power and down for the reverse.. That's the way I have the left joystick:configured: back for up and forward for down. Just feels more natural.
Fly safe and Roll Tide!
