Lost Alert Sounds from Controller on P3S

I repaired my gimbal and everything work just fine except now I do not get any sound alerts like "Home Point Set," "Maximum altitude reached," Signal lost," etc.

Does this information reach the controller through one of the wifi antennas or the gray ribbon cable between the gimbal and the A/C? I'm wondering if one of the connections might be loose. Could it originate inside the A/C?

Any help will be appreciated.

Those sound alerts come from DJI GO. Did you try turning the volume up on your mobile device?

Oh brother, I need to go back to kindergarten and start over. I was trying to come up with a rational excuse as to why the sound was off but I couldn't come up with one. Thanks.
