log in error :299 in assisant ?

I'm getting the same thing. There's something screwed up at the server. Clicking on the Register button takes you to a page that's headed with this error message:

ErrorException [ Notice ]: Memcache::get(): Server 127.0.0.7 (tcp 11211) failed with: Connection refused (111)

I have been getting the 299 error all day too - have been trying to do firmware update before my first flight with P2V, no luck due to the persistent 299 error, I tried with 2x different accounts.

First time I ever used it, got this error. Swear I was doing something wrong.

This issue is resolved today, there is new firmware v 3.04 available via the Assistant software.

That's been there for almost 3 weeks. Everybody's waiting for what is currently the 3.05 beta that fixes the compass problem causing P2s to not go in the direction they're pointed and hook wildly left or right when you let off the stick depending on the magnetic declination where you are flying.
