Loading maps

Hi,
I had some problems getting the latest update into my Samsung 10.2 but after some trix I got it to work.
I cannot see any maps in ground station mode!?
I have Google maps installed.
What am I doing wrong?

I don't think you need google maps installed but it won't hurt.
You just need to view the flight location while connected to internet with a good wifi or mobile data connection, the app caches the map - not sure how long for but many days at any rate.
You need to zoom in to an appropriate degree, you can't view a huge area then close in later when offline or connected to phantom wifi - and expect to see small details.
