Litchi app crashing

Bought the Litchi app, flew around my p3 4k. Way point feature worked great. In the middle of the flight the app crashed and I was in manual mode flying around and laded it safely.

I hit up Litchi tech support. But I was wondering what devices work well? I'm using a LG G5, which is a buggy phone anyways. What do you guys recommend for a tablet?

a recent iOS device might be most robust, but a well-known brand new android device might be just as good and cheaper

iphone 6 here...same thing happened yesterday...first time too.
