*lightly* crashed my phantom (no biggee)

just screwing around today, messed up my landing and flipped the phantom. i consider myself an experienced pilot and i screwed up due to distractions hehe

Yeah that's a good idea I'm going to try that... So do you just power down for 3 secs and it shuts off or do you somehow do a csc

Just power down for three seconds. Works like a charm and much safer than trying to land it...

That was definitely a bit risky trying to land on the case like that.

I prefer to hand-catch as well whenever practical, or on level grass.

When catching the Phantom by hand, the motors might not shut off completely until you completely immobilize the Phantom,
in Intelligent mode, it might still keep the motors running a bit until it "thinks" it has landed.
