I'd use portrait mode for a panorama like that one if I was shooting with my SLR on the ground but I manage to work around it in the air.

Quite low light (late afternoon, overcast and sun nearly down).

Setting up and framing directly over my house was child's play.

The old Spanish missions in San Antonio are part of the National Park system, so unfortunately there is no flying within the park boundaries. I may go back in the Spring and ask for permission. It never hurts to ask.

Pretty cool. When I was in the boys outs. We walked to all the missions in SA on a weekend. That image brought back memories
