Landing gear ideas

Hello guys..

Been doing TON of research on this - and looking for some landing gear ideas.

I have the original Phantom, am looking for some cool black CF or similar material landing gear ideas, and where to get it. Originally I was looking for some folding gear, and found some from Shapeways, but didn't want to deal with the cost. So I am back to square one.

Originally I was looking at this -

But at 108g - isn't that pretty hefty for the Phantom?

Also saw this which seemed nice -

But that is 94g. Would I notice a difference between the 2 weights? Are either of them just too heavy for what they are???

Just looking for thoughts, or other options.

Any advice would be greatly appreciated!
