What about a preemptive strike and apply epoxy resin before cracks appear?

In my case, installing the metal plates under each motor corner helped my phantom in not getting any crack plus installing also the polar pro landind gear for soft landing make your phantom even more protected to issue with the shell.

use it for search and rescue... use 2 5 watt led bulbs out of a flashlight made by stinger mounted on the camera guard on bottom.

I will guess that the drone looks very strange in a very dark area with all these strong lights on it.

I use these ones and make the landing very soft to the aircraft:

They awkward to put on

It never get unstable, my drone it's always stable. Yes sometimes you can see it in the video but that's when I am turning corners or doing POI. It is only three seconds that you see it and then it hide which to me that does not bother me at all. But I love these landing gears.

I noticed a bit of instability in stronger winds and a specially in sportsmode
Which i dont have with those legs off
Its not a lot but noticeable
However the biggest issue
Is how awkward it is to put them on feels like i almost break the landing gear
This plastic cracking issue always comes to my mind
