Is there a problem with the image quality of the P4P

Sorry; I downloaded your pictures, looked at them, couldn't see any problem. Looked at my own shots with the P4P North West Escondido | Barking Deer℠ Photography
Looked okay, and a print I made of that image at 13"x18" looks great. Your pictures in the snow BTW are awesome.

Then we have different eyes. Did sent the files to the supplier who replied me within a few hours that i had a faulty lens. The replacement P4P produced vastly better files. I am a very experienced photographer but rather critical about quality of lenses.

There was absolutely without question a lens misalignment issue
with my P4P+ (someone else called it decentering) causing left third
& right fifth of image to be way-unacceptably blurry whilst center area
remained sharp. Being less than month old, it is en route to DJI USA
for exchange or correction...

I suggest looking at images taken at 100 ft or higher where there are, say, trees of the same kind left side to center to right side, then compare details
visible in those trees whilst viewing at 100%...
(it must be at 100%) (PS. am referring to still images, not video)

Did not try video but still quality was pretty poor on larger distances. Important to test still quality directly after purchase.

i just cant tell if i am being too picky.
can you help ? look at a particular jpg ?
(i really want thing sharp for photogrammetry)

I am on the last day of return possible w Best buy (should have done adorama or B and H.) arghhh !

Is it at 100%?
Its not ideal image to judge because
most of edges are black water, no details.
But pier-boats seem acceptably sharp
Left edge (road-van) show drop off in
quality, but at very edges, that's expected
with 1" sensor AFAIK. I will say this lens
is closer to best possible than to unacceptable.
One or more others with expertise may disagree...?

@ribjig So there is better out there for sure ?
@tompoes have a look for me ?
@Meta4 my imagination or your images are better but still have slightly soft edges, i.e. text on boat (awesome shot btw) ?

for the record, i think photo wise all is ok, but looking for the best for photogrammetry. ie. garbage in garbage out for 3d models......
