Is it updating?

Hi everyone,

I've just received my P3P and followed online tutorials on how to update firmware. All looked fine, it beeped initially but has now stopped beeping and is just making a noise like a hard drive writing to disk sound. The light on the front of the gimbal is green and the lights on the back of the P3P are flashing yellow.

Is it updating?

What exactly does that sound like?

I'm not sure of another way to describe it.

I stopped the process, formatted the SD card again, put the BIN folder onto it and reinserted and now it's doing everything as it should

Modern day hard drives are quite silent

It sounds like you're all set though.

It's still beeping and the gimbal light is flashing green and red but the main lights have stopped flashing. Is this normal?

Edit: lights are flashing again.

Edit: TXT file say as update was a success. Thanks for you response

It sounds like the firmware is installing. Ignore the lights on the arms and follow these instructions exactly.
