This has happened a few times now, i try to connect my iphone 4s to the PV2+ after start up and i get a message "Connection to phantom failed" then i try i ipad mini and i get a connection. Has this happened to any one else?

Yes,
I deleted, and reinstalled APP, also make sure your
" PREVIEW QUALITY IS SET TO ( 640x480 15fps ) or LOWER!
Do not use ( 640x480 30fps ( Frames Per Second )
Causes serious delays or black screen on FPV!
