Thats not right.
Have you fitted it on correct axis motor ?
Should be less than 1mm gap
Where did you get that ? Definitely doesn't look right

The gimbal looks to be pulled apart.
I'm guessing you went with a knockoff instead of the more expensive Killer RC one? I've read a lot of reports of this issue with the knockoffs. The gap in the Killer RC one is almost imperceptible.
Just checked mine and the clearance is .30mm.
Yep, that's a knock off. I went through the same thing from Amazon. Then I got the killer RC one, now it's perfect.
No, that is not right send it back. Uninstall it and send it back, it won't help at all. I think they put the wrong "bumper" on it or it was cut and tapped at the wrong length.
Crap mines the same .I need to modify it or try another
47 dollars????? Hmm il just modify my £5 one lol
I'm with you, just make a new "bumper" and be done with it.
Yeah we have carbon fibre at work..il just glue a strip onto the plate....not worth 47 dollars .what a ripoff
I hear ya, live and learn.
I have the same one, I just machined a little off the arm in my milling machine. You can do the same by using a file or sanding it off. Do a little then test fit.
I just requested a return.
I'll probably try and make it fit better though.
Should it actually touch each other or just enough to give some free play?
It shouldn't touch, just short of touching.
I ordered the Hobby-Ace one from Amazon for $21.00 ,what a waste of time that was. It's going back and a new one from RC Killer is on the way.
