iMovie Volume

I can not figure out how to lower the volume of the music I put on a short video of my son on his scooter. The video was made on the latest version of iMovie for a Mac.

Any help is greatly appreciated

I separate the audio clip from the video (right click on video click), then you can adjust the volume by dragging the horizontal line inside the audio clip.
