I Pad mini 2 not loading DJI GO 4

I have been using my IPhone 5s on my controller (phantom 4) wanting a larger view screen I purchased an I Pad mini 2. The I Pad is :- model # MD531C/A, it uses version 9.35. All this seems to meet DJI requirements. However when I try to download the DJI GO 4 app. I get the message :- Not compatible with your device !

Any ideas ?

MD531C/A is an iPad Mini 1. It's not compatible with DJI GO.

FYI, you can find a complete list of compatible Apple devices here.

Argh ! Bought it thinking it was an I Pad mini 2 ! It will load the DJI Go app, but I will continue to use my I phone until I can sell the 1 and find a 2. Thanks a lot msinger !
