horrible signal

i just bought a used dji phantom 2, with a complete fpv setup and a h3-2d gimbal. i can only fly about 50 meter away before the controller signal is lost. the video stream to the monitor is still working well. i enjoy flying it allot and i fly it all the time but it kinda kills the mood when i cant fly beyond 50 meter away from me. is there somthing i can do to fix this?

How are you aiming your controller antenna ?
It should be at an angle and not pointing straight at the bird .

Have you checked in assistant what your distance is set at ?
At 50 meters does it go into rth or just stop ?

It is set at 800 meters, it just return to home when signal is lost

What FPV are you using? If it's transmitting in the same frequency as the controller? If so it could be interfering with your controller signal.

This happned to me actually so it could be this....

Have either of you done a complete calibration of both the RC controller and P2 including a complete advanced IMU?
