help please. motors won't start

My brother brought his pv2+ to fly with mine and his motors won't start up. We set up the compass etc and all seems fine but when attempting to get the motors going we get 3 red flashes and than it goes back to green. We are both very new with our pv2+'s.


Any ideas ?

Hook to PC ASSISTANT,
Check your IMU readings:
Gyroscope
Accelerometer
Compass
Let us know your MOD VALUES?

IMU= Inertial Measurement Unit
( takes readings from ( gyroscope, accelerometer, & compass )
It takes the values and creates a MOD VALUE for each.

MOD= MODUUS
( another term for absolute value )

Basically goes like this:

Gyroscope SHOULD BE : ( 0.0 - 1.5 )
Accelerometer SHOULD BE : ( .98 - 1.02 )
Compass SHOULD BE : ( 750 - 2250 )
If any numbers above are OFF, perform a ADVANCED IMU CALIBRATION.
Also run a Tx ( controller ) calibration while you are still in PC ASSISTANT.
Do a FRESH COMPASS CALIBRATION before first flight! All should be well.

If for some reason your compass IS WAY WAY OFF ( like in the negative numbers )
You'll need to do a compass RESET .

Heed the advice above ... Three red flashes indicates "Not stationary or sensor bias too big"

J Dot is on the right track... time to check those numbers and do advanced IMU calibration.
