Hand Controller Power LED Color Yellow

In Phantom 2 User Manual v 1.04 section 3. the Power Indicator LED in section 3.1 of the manual is shown as Solid RED when the battery is at the proper voltage. On my Hand Control the LED color is solid Yellow. Is this normal?
Or is this an indication of a malfunction?
