DJI announced the new gimbal several days ago, but a search of the web brings up not even one sample of footage from this new gimbal. What is going on??? Are we supposed to just believe it's a great gimbal and order it, sight unseen?

    good question!
one would think that they would have delivered it to beta testers to evaluate and such.
most gimbal manufacturers showcase at least some video!

..tho DJI does have a devoted following who will buy it sight unseen, paying even more than what a product is really worth

I suspect it will be launched officially at NAB with marketing footage no doubt...

Lets hope it's not another repetition of the H3-2D fiasco of 35% failure rates and short stock !!

Although...... I have a feeling it might be.....

    Think I'll wait for H3-3D v2

Were the earlier failures of the gimbals where they seem to burnt out "cured" by the hibernation mode added to the firmware or also by using more reliable components?

Was the 3rd axis turned off? Lol. I see a lot of yaw jitter :(

Indeed. It didn't seem to be damping out any manually applied yaw either?

Either he mislabelled his video or there's a bit of work to do on the H3-3D yet!

Nah, surely that's a 2D gimbal, otherwise why is it exhibiting fishtailing?
A 3D gimbal would have corrected this problem.

This was not from a 3D gimbal, it is mislabeled.

...or correctly labelled as a great way to get some YouTube hits. Why didn't I think of that?! ;)

No way that's a 3rd axis gimbal. He must have mistyped the description. I couldn't get the video to play smoothly on my computer so the whole video looked jittery.

Great video. Why would I need to see the footage from the camera, when I can drool over the gimbal 20mtrs in the air. The footage from this gimbal is as hard to find as MH370.

Am I the only 1 that noticed that "Phantom 2" they used, had white T-motors on it?
Hopefully, they will upload the footage they shot, on that flight.......kinda has me curious about why they haven't yet??
Thanks for posting that up Adam.
