Although I have been playing around with the GS for a couple of months, this was my first BVR flight. Needless to say the Pucker Factor was high as my bird flew out of sight. But it came back! And brought some cool video with it. The Ground Station rocks!

Congratulations!

I didn't realize that the distances I'd set between waypoints on my first long GS flight would send it BVR, so my pucker response was extreme. I finally freaked out, thinking I was having a flyaway and hit Failsafe. When I reviewed the video I realized the Phantom had flown a perfect mission -- until I interrupted it. Yes, the GS is wonderful.
