GPS Outages in California

luckily for us (p3, p4, inspire and matrice owners) dji also use glonass

If you read it, it will effect our drones above 50 AGL and the 4,000AGL further out and so one, they said shouldn't key word, effect ground GPS. Only time will tell.

It ”should” even jam GLONASS. Hope no problem come from this.

"On June 7, 9, 21, 23, 28, and 30th the GPS interference testing will be taking place between 9:30am and 3:30pm Pacific time."

Well most of us work between those hours so should be safe.

Two-bits says this jamming test will cover both the GPS and GLONASS satellites.

I'd hope that someone familiar with this outage–and inside the forecast–would test their reception during the event days.

These tests have been going on in the UK as well for many years. GPS is very easy to jam. Sometimes even by accident.
A marina in the UK was having serious problems with GPS signal. None of the boats could get a signal. After a few weeks they discovered it was an active TV aerial causing the problem!
