I've just looked at a nice clip of a P2V with a GP3
Couldn't help notice that towards the end of the clip when the camera tilts up to the horizon there is no fisheye effect? I haven't experimented much with my P2V+ as I've only had it a short while, so it's on the stock video settings but I have noticed it's strong fisheye effect.
Do the other P2V+ video settings reduce this effect?

i might not be 100% with this, but if the camera is level with the horizon you won't get lots of fisheye at the horizon, the centre of frame is usually ok, it is the top and bottom/ left and right where the fisheye effect is. if the vid was shot in narrow frame mode on a P2V+ the worse parts ( the corners ) are pre cropped. a lot of aeriel shots have the camera tilted down slightly 20 - 30 degrees maybe? to get the ground in the shot so the horizon is near the top of the frame where the fisheye is at its worst. if you have a go pro or P2V+ just look at lined paper or fencing and frame it top, middle and bottom, or left and right for verticals and you'll see where the picture is 'straight'
