Frequency light on Phantom 4

Quick question when I power up the rc and the aircraft the frequency light is solid green however after flying for a bit it blinks red. Is this normal?
Any suggestions?

Just to make sure we know exactly what light you're talking about can you describe the light better or include a pic?

It's the little light that is used for linking the remote to the phantom. It is located near the sd card slot.

Page 39 of the manual. That is the (mostly) camera indicator led, it slowly blinks red when you start recording video. Is that what's going on?
