I did not like how my monitor was held onto the transmitter so took some gopro parts and some 1/2 inch aluminum rod and made one that works better then those flimsy carbon fiber mounts........Dave

Nice!! I love DIY solutions like this

I bet that aluminum rod you fabricated would be useful in a lot of ways to people who use the gopro mounting system...you should considier puttting them up on ebay or something.
