i have no idea how to mount in or choose it...

I do that with the h3 black, I dont think that setup is going to get you 2km range by the look of it and the antennas used I think youd be pretty lucky to get 500m with direct los.
I use the dji 5.8 setup and its claimed around the same range but has a bigger tx and much better antennas. I havent gone past 900m in flight with it yet as I was flying stock radio but it easily outdoes the phantom radio range wise and compared to some other guys I have flown with does better then most other 5.8 setups that dont have specific long range antennas.
