Hi all
Not happy with my Dji camera on fc40
I have Samsung smart phone, I see they do cameras with wifi?
Has any one use one on there copter

Most in camera WiFi systems will have a very poor range - some as low as 50 feet!

Much as I'm not a huge fan of the GoPro (as a camera) its the easiest way as other folks have put in all the effort to see what works.
I'm not aware of anywhere they give the range for the in camera WiFi for any manufacturer.

The reason a range cannot be given is that it depends upon both sides. A big antenna on one side can make up for a small antenna on the other.
Since you cannot change the antenna of your phone, what you can do (and what DJI has done) is to use a wifi range extender.
You can put a massive antenna on the range extender and get good range from anything, just about.
