Is it just the smaller qauds that are having fly away issues, or do the bigger hexa and octa's deal with this too? All I hear about is Phantoms and Blade 350QX's. I know there are more of the smaller ones out there, but I haven't seen much regarding this matter. Thoughts?

Its not the quad, its the controller. Search for NAZA flyaway or even wookong flyaway, and you get the idea.

However, now I come to think about it, my hubsan x4 flies away all the time ;)

I think there are a number of unknowns in the equation. DJI gear represents a HUGE share of the market and I've yet to see anything that suggests the rate of failure with DJI flight controllers is higher than anything else (since there really isn't any quantitative data out there).

As I tell my wife when she complains about dropped calls on her cellphone, "It's a miracle it works at all."

If both Mercedes-Benz and BMW have an equal percentage of brakes failing, but there are 5 million people driving a BMW and just 10.000 a Benz, BMW gets the ****. Even including people with too short legs, or DUI.

And there has to be done something about the brakes.
