I've now registered eleven birds! Every type, kit, scratch, outta box! DJI, Align, Custom Mfg. Can/will answer any questions.

I'm surprised this thread hasn't gotten a LOT of attention.

The whole registration thing is very confusing to me I would be very interested in getting it just for personal photography

You don't need to register your Phantom for personal photography (yet). I believe the OP is referring to applying for a 333 exemption.

What is the actual process of applying for the 333 Exemption if using a drone for a commercial entity ?
Who does one approach and what does the process entail ?
    Many thanks

What was the average duration from the time the exemption was posted for comment until it was updated with your approval? Mine is now >30 days.
