I'm running it with an RTFHawk flight controller, 4 cell battery. E300 motors, RTFQuad ESCs. 9443 props. It weighs about 2000 grams.

It takes about 70% throttle to hover, should be 50%. I eventually want to add my gimbal, which is another 200 grams.

I need better props, but which way should I go?

    Thanks

I have been running a set of 1038 carbon fiber props on my F450 E300 . I like them much better than the stock DJI props.
I also just received a set of HQ 1038

I flew for 30 min today and really like them.
I'm going to order a set of HQ 10 inch E props to try.

You are also probably going to find that you want to lift more weight and will eventually want longer arms for bigger motors and props on the 550.

Where can one find longer arms?

Is there any advantage to using 10" vs 9" props?
