Editing video (MP4 from P4P) without losing embedded subtitles

Hi all,

Has anyone found a way to edit video (MP4) from a Phantom 4 Pro and keep the embedded subtitle information? A client needs the GPS information on the video and I have several hours of footage that needs to be trimmed and then combined. The problem is all the video editors that I have tried don't recognize the embedded subtitles (no SRT with P4P) and scrub them off when the video is combined.

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

I use Davinci Resolve for my editing, there are plugins available to import / export / edit SRT's. I haven't tried it so I can't speak from experience but it may be worth looking at: Subtitles for DaVinci Resolve
