DJI Ground Station

Hi Guys,

Before I place a order for a ground station I need a question answered first.

If I set a waypoint that's way outside of the controllers distance and loose all signal controller and video, will the Phantom continue on its journey set by the ground station or would it kick into return home mode because of the loss of signal?

I'm trying to find a way to get the Phantom to fly 2.5km away from home, check out my caravan and return home.

The Ground Station will fly the waypoints regardless of the controller. As a test, you could set a small mission, turn off your controller while in flight.

If you hit low battery while in flight, the FS option will kick in.
