Distance before drone disconnects

I have a p3a and live in the US, I've got 5,000ft in my neighborhood filled with houses flying at 400ft. Still haven't took it to the beach to push it but I'm way happy with 5,000 ft in my neighborhood..

I've had a p3a and p3p and live in the US and both stock have gotten way over a mile (8500ft) (2600 meters) with no problems. This is with lots of Wi-Fi activity. Only thing that stops it from going farther is the trees and houses in the LOS. At the beach I go way over 2 1/2 miles. 13,000ft (4000 meters)

If you are only getting 500 meters something is off. Take it somewhere where there is no interference and fly it there to verify that the range deficiency is a product of the setup and not your environment.

Truly in a good area I have flown 19,000 feet one way! So 500 meters is not good. Even where there is interference I go 7,000 8,000 feet.
