Has anyone attempted to get a waiver for daylight operations (night flying) in controlled airspace, say, Class D? Or a 107.29 waiver and 107.41 authorization?

I have a potential client later on this year for night flying, but is also in Class D airspace. I won't need to go very high (<150 ft) and it is only about 1000 ft from the edge of the Class D.
