Channel up grade

After installing the thirty two channel upgrade will following things happen:
If you pick a higher channel and you lose your signal does it search for another available channel in the top 16 channel available or it just returns home ?

DJI go: it will stay on the selected channel no matter what. If the selected channel is noisy with interference you'll not be having great video feed.
Litchi: it will revert back to auto if video feed signal drops or reduced to low levels.
