New to the forum here. I have a P3 Advanced and I'm looking for a few nice spots to fly in the Carolinas - preferably the coast or the mountains. Would anyone be kind to suggest a few locations? Thanks in advance.

Southport is a great place. Lots of boat traffic, both commercial (freighter, tugs, fishing) and pleasure crafts. Cute town with history. AND, it's a fine place to just visit.

Welcome to the forum and the addiction er hobby :)

If you come up to the mountains be sure you know exactly where you're at because there are lots of areas that are No Fly Zones due to being National Parks and the Blue Ridge Parkway.

Thank you guys for your quick responses. I've never been to Southport but it sounds a lot like Beaufort, SC. With active boat traffic, are u flying over the marina?
With the no fly zones in the mountains are thereally still great spots to fly?
Sorry these are obviously newbie questions
