Can't get it to start up

Just got a 2+. Took it to the beach to fly it and can't get the motors to start. Seems like controller is communicating with the bird but no go. Pushing joysticks to the corners and nothing. Any suggestions?

Ok, kinda stupid but I found out what's wrong.

With my other Phantom (just the DJI), I could push the joysticks to any corners to get it to start. I didn't know I have to push the joysticks both down and into the corner on the bottom inside to get it to start. Duh!

Thanks though. Just wanted to let you know how stupid I can be and, hopefully, it'll help someone else out.

go to NAZA mode and you can have multiple ways to start the motors..
