Can not update bird or batteries

SOLVED

I get long Beeeeep, no solid green light. Tried format card, etc.
Tried multiple times to restart bird after long beep
DJI Go states still needs update


Result: Success.

Was this with the 16gig sd card that came with it? If not, try a different sd card
 
yes it was the card that came in it. Brand new not yet even flown.

Tried different card, still no luck.
 
That's normal if the upgrade process is stopped just let it beep takes about a half hour or so of the painful noise
Even after the solid red light on the gimbal and solid beep sound? I understood that was a sign of failure.
 
1 day old never flown. I took it back to the shop/dealer I purchased it from and after they said diagnosed it had a hardware issue. Swapped it for another and said they would deal with dji on that unit. Thank God for good dealers.. :)
