Unfortunately, after an evil tree jumped into my flight path, the gimbal went haywire and is going back for repair or replacement. Is there anything preventing me from a little extra flight training with the gimbal/camera assembly removed?
Thanks!

Yes, you can fly without the camera and gimbal. You won't have any video obviously, and won't have any telemetry. You will have GPS, you will only know if you have more or less than 6 satelites by the Phantom LEDs. Return to Home and other failsafes all work without camera, the only difference is you have no way of knowing that RTH has been initiated.

Just remember to maintain LOS (Line of sight) and you are good.

Actually... the Groundstation Waypoint system should still work so you really don't NEED to maintain LOS (although it's a great idea). Hard to imagine what the point of a Waypoint flight without a camera would be though...
