I've just begun experimenting with my new Phantom FC40 and was wondering what the overall best camera tilt angle is for other flyers. I realize that the height of the aircraft will have an affect the angle used. But, in general, is the best camera tilt angle straight out, 45 degrees down, somewhere in between?

That depends on what you plan on shooting. Many of us have added a gimbal to enable tilting in flight. There's no "best angle" per se, it depends what your subject is with regard to the photos or video you want to take...

My guess would be about 10 degrees down to avoid the. props and guards...Mandrake

From the thing that is also a phone
