There is a feature called camera passthrough that allows you to switch between fpv and the front camera on your phone. Has anybody used this feature when flying to keep yourself oriented to the drone while wearing goggles? It is new feature available on the gear vr platform.

this feature was already supported by Zeiss VR One Plus. It helps if you want to see straight to the sky.

I am curious to know if any of the fpv vr software programs incorporate this feature. It would deal with issue of having to remove the goggles to reorient yourself to the drones position.

I'm not sure how effective is the pass through procedure cause you get to see the sky through the front camera of the phone. I would like to take off the glasses to view the sky through naked eyes in case I really like to locate my aircraft.

This is not a software feature, it's provided by hardware so I'm not sure how to you really see it on a VR goggle with two image sections. I believe it would need readjusting your [emoji102]
